Z.ai (GLM)

Z.ai, formerly Zhipu AI, is the Beijing lab behind the open-weight GLM model family. Spun out of Tsinghua University in 2019, it became the world's first listed LLM company (HKEX 2026). GLM-5 features 745B parameters with 256-expert MoE, 202K context, frontier-level reasoning, and MIT-licensed open weights. Includes AutoGLM for agentic task automation and the GLM Coding Plan for developers.
